INTACT (ING) Video Party

Last night was the 2nd annual awards ceremony for the Intact Insurance (formerly ING) Speed Skating Challenge. The evening presented Canada's best speed skating video stories submitted by skaters from across the country.

Jessica Gregg was one of the judges in the contest and an honoured guest at the table of one of the finalists. Most of the Calgary short track team was on hand to enjoy the evening as Intact is known for throwing a great party.

What a good looking group! I'm used to seeing them in training gear - who would've thought they could clean-up so well!

After the party, we joined some friends at a local bar to see Dan Lefebvre playing with his band The Otherside (http://www.myspace.com/theothersideonline). Dan is the Short Track High Performance Advisor at Own the Podium. On this night though, he was rockin' some classic tunes and doing so in fine style.
